Mykdalen Mountain Resort is the largest alpine ski resort in western Norway and is located just a 2-hour drive from Bergen. With 9 lifts, 22 varied slopes, and even off-piste terrain, it is the perfect destination for skiers of all levels.
From Bergen, follow road E16 east towards Oslo for 120 kilometers until reaching the town of Vinje. You will come to a roundabout directing you towards road 13 and Myrkdalen. Follow road 13 for 10 kilometers until you reach Myrkdalen Mountain Resort.
From Bergen, you can take the ØstVestEkspress bus to Voss. The bus, one of NOR-WAY Bussekspress’ routes, departs Bergen daily around 9:00am and arrives at Voss station around 10:45am.
From Voss, you have the option of taking a free bus from Voss train station to Myrkdalen Mountain Resort, which departs nearly every hour throughout the day. The bus times correspond to the arriving trains from Bergen.

- Myrkdalen is located just 30 kilometers north of Voss.
- The ski season is normally between the beginning of November to May (depending on the snow). For the month of November, the resort is only open on the weekends.
