About Hafjell Bike Park
With 28 kilometers of mountain biking terrain ranging from beginner to expert, there is something for everyone at Hafjell. It is by far the best destination in Norway for lift-accessed mountain biking. At Hafjell you have opportunities for great downhill and single track biking and many gravel trails perfect for biking uphill and downhill.
The typical open season at Hafjell Bike Park is between mid-June and early-October from 10:00 to 17:00. These dates are also subject to change based on the weather.
From Oslo, head north on road Rv4 and road E6 for 175 kilometers. Follow signs for road E6 towards Trondheim and Lillehammer. Take the exit for “Hafjelltoppen” and follow the road Fv312 for 5 kilometers until you reach Hafjell Alpine Center (Hafjell Bike Park).
From Lillehammer, head north on E16 towards Trondheim for 9 kilometers. Take the exit for “Hafjelltoppen” and follow the road Fv312 for 5 kilometers until you reach Hafjell Alpine Center (Hafjell Bike Park).
From Oslo, take the NSB train from Oslo S to Lillehammer train station. There are trains departing nearly every hour. Book your train ticket here. From Lillehammer train station, there are local buses departing multiple times an hour to Hafjell Alpine Resort (Hafjell Bike Park). View the times here.
