The trail starts in the middle of the crater. The first 100 meters will be flat, after this the trail descends slowly. On the trail it’s an easy walk, the trail has a handrail to grab.

When you see the first man made tunnel, you’re almost at the peak. Soon you will find a fort from World War II. You have the choice to climb the stairs in the man made tunnels or you just go around them to reach the peak. The peak offers a lot of places to enjoy the beautiful view.

  • No drinking water on the trail, so make sure to fill up before leaving the parking lot.
  • Entrance fee for one person is $1.
