Veibeskrivelse
Tinnhølen Lake is reached along a side road from Norwegian Scenic Route Hardangervidda. Driving along Road 7, look for the turn off to Tinnhølen/Trondsbu between Haugastøl and Vøringsfossen Waterfall.
Follow this road for 12 kilometers , passing Trondsbu cabin, until you reach the parking lot by Tinnhølen Lake.
Turbeskrivelse
From the parking lot, follow the marked trail east into the national park to Stigstuv. After a break at Stigstuv, continue northwest towards Bjoreidalshøgda. You will pass back out of the national park on this leg.
At Bjoreidalshøgda, near the closed Bjoreidalshytta cabin, you’ll reach the road you drove along, Tinnhølvegen. Here there are some old stone farm buildings from the 1800s. Follow this road south back to the parking lot.
