Om Flørli Staircase
4,444 - the number of stairs you will climb from the quaint village of Flørli straight up the mountain. The staircase follows the two water pipelines and the rails which used to transport a trolley full of materials and workers up and down the mountain.
Hike a section of the staircase or challenge yourself to the entire trip. Either way, you will be in awe of the spectacular views along the entire adventure. Flørli is located in the beautiful Lysefjord and only accessible by boat.
Note: It is not possible to drive your car all the way to Flørli. You must either take a ferry directly from Stavanger or drive to Lauvvik and take the ferry from there.
