Lunnaas is an (open) free cabin right in the middle of a large forest area in the north end of Finnemarka. The cabin has beds for 4 people, a basic kitchen and a wooden stove. Go there and enjoy some great hikes in the area or bring your fishing rod and try your luck in Lake Vesle Bumla which is right by the cabin.

You need a car to get to the trailhead. Drive to Vikersund and cross the river and go North. You will find a sign that says "Breilivegen" on your right-hand side. You need 50 NOK in cash to get past the first toll station. Drive along the road until you see a sign for "Djupengrop" on your right-hand side. You will need another 30 NOK for this road. Follow the road all the way to the top and park in the parking lot.
From the parking lot continue on the gravel road for about 400 meters. Follow the even smaller gravel road going up to the left and pass a red cabin on your right-hand side. 100 meters after you pass the cabin the blue marked trail starts on the left side of the road.
Follow this trail going past Gudbrandstjern and a bit later a small round pond. When you see the second pond a bit further down from the trail start looking for a trail taking off to the right. Follow this trail all the way to Lunnaas.
In this area you will have snow quite late in the spring, therefore you will most likely need to wait until May to do this hike. Snow might be back in October so take a look at the weather forecast before you go.
