Svinevika: Padleled Vestfold

Padleled Vestfold is a paddling route along the coastline of Vestfold county from Svelvik in the north to Larvik in the south.

Svinevika is a popular and beautiful bay with a long sandy beach surrounded by steep hillsides. Here, there is a lot of activity in the summer, but a paddler finds peace and quiet here during the other times of year. Svinevika is located in the Sandefjord’s fjord, which extends from the open ocean in the south to Sandefjord city in the north and is approximately nine kilometers long. The fjord offers many natural gems and great hiking opportunities, some known and some hidden.

In Svinevika bay, you won’t find a lot of the necessary amenities. Freshwater is unfortunately not available near the start of the kayaking route but you will have access to a public toilet near the parking lot.

The kayak and other equipment can be taken easily down at the beach, which is located just 50 meters from the parking lot.
