Vollan Gård is the visitor center in Kvikne, and information center for Forollhogna National Park. The farm was established during a time of mining, when Kvikne had the biggest copper mine in Norway.
An exhibition of the history around Kvikne is found in the big barn at the visitor center. A nice cultural path is also starting at the farm giving everyone visiting a better understanding of the area.
Svartsjøen is one of the natural entry points to adventures around Kvikne. There is parking for up to 10 cars, a lake for fishing, nice hiking to the viewpoint Ruv and a turf hut to get shelter from the rain or just to make up fire and take a rest.
