Bogen

Padleled Vestfold is a network of paddling routes located along the coastline of Vestfold county from Svelvik, in the north, to Larvik, in the south.

With a starting point at Bogen, it is just a short distance to the Vestfold archipelago and therefore many great kayaking routes. Bogen is a popular place to enjoy a day by the water but it is also the perfect place to start a day paddling through the calm and peaceful waters. Together with the nearby hill, Sundåsen, and Langøya island, Bogen is one of Vestfold’s most important cultural environments, and a great reason to choose Bogen as your starting point.

Bogen’s recreational area is great for public use. You can launch kayaks from the beach or from the boat dock and parking is located nearby in the designated area. Public toilets are located in the harbor, along with access to freshwater. The nearest grocery store is located in Stokke city center, about 5 km north of Bogen.
