Padleled Vestfold is a network of paddling routes located along the coastline of Vestfold county from Svelvik, in the north, to Larvik, in the south.
Havna is a great starting point for kayak tours around Færder National Park, which includes beautiful islands, beaches and perfect places to camp for a weekend adventure. In the summer season, you can experience the exciting and busy life along the coast. On beautiful days, the boat traffic can be very noticeable but if you stick close to the shoreline, it shouldn’t be a problem. If you choose to paddle during the less popular season, you can expect to have the National Park nearly all to yourself.
At Havna, you can drop off equipment and kayaks down at the pier but cars must be parked a few hundred meters from the shoreline. If you want to launch your kayak from a beach, you can do this on the small beach a few hundred meters east, past the hotel. Public toilets are available at the hotel reception and freshwater can be filled in the marina. The nearest convenience store is located in Tjøme city center, about 4 kilometers north.
