Rondane National Park in the eastern region of Norway has a small, but a very dense collection of peaks towering over 2,000 m.a.s.l. This area in Norway is fairly dry so hiking season starts relatively early and by mid-June, you should be able to explore all of these mountains.
A good starting point for hiking in Rondane is a small cabin area called Mysusæter. Mysusæter is your best option for easy access to nearly all of the peaks in Rondane.
