About Kvenadn - Vennis

The starting point is located at Liagardsvegen (Fv. 293), 1.8 km west of the Slettefjell boom. An information board and signs showing the way to Måneberg and Nefstadstølen at the start. The first part of the tour goes on the old mountain farm road to Rysndalen. Slightly up on the hill you go through a gate and pass plots for home mountain farm in Sørre Hemsing. The path slants upwards towards the north. A place up the hill you get to a crossroads with signs pointing to "Måneberget". In the crossing just west of Hensån, turn left towards Måneberg (910 meters above sea level). There are tables and benches and great views in all directions here, so a breather can definitely be recommended here. Moving on the trip goes through light, nice terrain in open, lush mountain birch forests. At the tufts after old Remmisstølen you can choose to take a shortcut right down to the mountain road from Remmisåsen to Leirholsstølen and follow this down to the county road and back to the starting point. Or you go further west to Møsåkerstølen where you reach the well-kept mountain farm road. You can choose to end the tour here and take the mountain farm road down to the starting point, as described above. But if you want to continue even longer, go west along the mountain farm road, past Høverstadstølen and Leirholsstølen. Then again choose: The steep path down the rocks to Leirhol, or further west to Knappetjern and Vennis?
