Frudalshesten is for experienced skiers and found in Sogndalsdalen together with several other well known ski touring peaks.
Make sure you have a good understanding of snow conditions before you consider Frudalshesten as your next journey.
The mountain offers lots of steep descents, but there are also possibilities to get down for the less experienced skier.

Frudalshesten is easy accessible if you are staying at one of the hotels in Sogndal. To get to the entry point of the adventure you are dependent on car transportation.
Follow RV 5 from Sogndal to Frudalen. Park your car at the parking lot by the entrance of the tunnel.
The ascent starts in Frudalen at Haugen, on the left side of Frudalstunellen. We would recommend the route given in the map, but make sure the snow conditions are safe. You are fully responsible for your own decisions as you make the climb toward the top of Frudalshesten.
