This is one of the easier peaks in Jotunheimen National Park. Located on the western edge of the park at 2,068 meters above sea level, Fannaråken, is a beautiful mountain tour to Norway's highest tourist cabin, Fannaråkhytta. Enjoy incredible views of Jotunheimen and across Sognefjell from the top

Getting there

From the city center of Lom, it's a little under 54 km to the starting point. Drive on Road 55 towards Sognefjellet, and park at the Prestesteinsvatnet parking lot.

Trail description

This is a rather easy, and quite enjoyable ski trip to Fannaråken. After crossing the dam, keep in the direction of Fannaråkbreen. From there, you'll follow the glacier to the top. Return the same route.
