About Flaksjølivegen roundtrip

This family friendly tour (all ages) is suitable for hiking, biking and wheelchair users.

Getting there

This tour starts at the barrier for Flaksjølivegen, below the parking lspot at Lundes.

Trail description

Flaksjølivegen is a popular child-friendly and family-friendly tour, suitable for hiking, biking and wheelchairs. It starts at the road barrier below the parking lot at the Lundebutikken and goes all the way to Flaksjøen, where you can rent a canoe or rowboat and fishing (renting a boat, and buying a fishing license) is done at the Lundebutikken.

From Flaksjøen you choose the road and sign up to Lundesetra at the slalom slope, and then continue inwards to Spidsbergseter hotel. The road runs in open mountain terrain, and is also the starting point for hiking trips up to Svartfjell, Dynjefjell or Flaksjøen around.

Below Spidsbergseter on the left, you can cross a small bridge and then follow the trail back to the Lundebutikken. The trail goes west on a path, which is a bit rocky at first, but no problem for hiking, and continues all the way to Buhaugveien. Then you follow it all the way back to Lundes

Alternatively, you can ride or walk the Flaksjølivegen back the same way you came, which is recommended for those using a wheelchair.
