About Glomnesfossen Waterfall
The Glomnesfossen Waterfall is easy to spot as you’re driving around the eastern end of Oppstrynsvatnet Lake near Hjelle, with Segestad Mountain Farm perched above. The falls can be easily reached with a short hike, and the viewpoint offers a nice perspective back towards the lake. From the falls you can extend the hike with a visit to the farm, or further up into the Glomsdalen Valley.
Getting there
The trail begins near Glomnes, 1 kilometer west from Hjelle on the northern shore of Oppstrynsvatnet Lake. Hjelle is an entry point to Norwegian Scenic Route Gamle Strynefjellsvegen.
