Stop for a picnic by an Arctic beach

Selvika is a popular picnic spot for locals on a warm summer’s day, and it’s easy to see why. The sheltered location with its small sandy beach provides an opportunity to both relax and engage with nature. The curvy concrete structure functions almost as an interactive sculpture, providing universal access to the beach and an interesting prop for photographers.
Selvika is along Norwegian Scenic Route Havøysund, 13.5 kilometers south of Havøysund village.
Traveling along Road 889, look for the marked parking lot directly by the roadside.
