About Låtefossen Waterfall

Låtefossen is a unique and frequently visited waterfall, with two streams of water meeting as they tumble down the mountainside. Underneath, the main road runs across a stone arched bridge, with water from the falls spraying the passing cars.

Låtefossen is one of the many popular large waterfalls around Hardanger, along with Vøringsfossen and Steinsdalsfossen. The waterfall is located right alongside road 13, part of Norwegian Scenic Route Hardanger.

Getting there

From Odda, Låtefossen is a 15 kilometer drive south along road 13 through the narrow Oddadalen Valley. There are plenty of signs and parking available, but it can be busy in summer.
