About Feigefossen
Experience the roaring Feigefossen at close range by hiking up the short, marked trail to a viewpoint close to this magnificent waterfall. With a sheer drop of 218 meters, this is the second-largest unregulated waterfall in Norway after Vettisfossen (275 meters).
Surrounded by green mountains and the pristine Luster Fjord, the hike up the steep, rocky trail is worth the effort.
Getting there
Exit Road 55 (Norwegian Scenic Route Sognefjellet) at Skjolden by taking a left onto Road 331. Drive for about 16.5 kilometers until you reach the parking lot on the right side of the road, by the fjord.
Walk for about 300 meters down the road until you reach the trailhead at Feigeelva River.
Trail description
