About Geilojordet
Geilojordet is an idyllic yard with a collection of ancient buildings from the 1700s and 1800s. The location is a very popular setting for events and local experiences. During the summer, an outdoor café serves refreshments. There are exhibits in the barn and all the buildings are open for visitors. There is a small play area for children and the chance to meet goat kids and chickens.
For opening hours, ask around in Geilo or check the Facebook page (in Norwegian).
Getting there
Geilojordet lies to the south of Geilo center. It's the perfect starting (and finishing) point for walking around Ustedalsfjorden.
