The walk to Plassetre suits most people. Here there was traditional dairy farming until the end of the 1950s.
Exit E136 6 km west of Lesja center at Lyftingsmo. Park at Lesja sports ground. Walk across E136 and enter the road right on the other side. Follow the road 300 m and follow the signposts. Cross the railroad.
After crossing the railway you follow the forest road to the east. Cross the river Lyftinge and follow signpost towards the Plassetre. The trail goes north with quite a good climb up the forest. Good trail to follow. At Plassetre you will find a traditional shelter with tables and benches as well as a bonfire site.
