This is a trip in gentle and nice mountainous terrain. You take off from Slettefjellvegen in the junction at the southern end of Fleinsendin and drive inward to Olestølen as far as the road goes. There is parking on the east side of the pond. From the west side of the pond, there is good marking on good path along the fjord westward to Kvithaugen. From Kvithaugen a well-trodden path continues further west to the delta of Yksnin, where you arrive at the T-marked trail from Vang to Yksendalsbu. You follow this further on until you reach the tourist cabin. This is a nice walk in beautiful landscape with the mountain hamlets of Kvithaugen as an oasis midway, well suited for a picnic. The self-catering Yksendalsbu cabin is located on an old grass-covered hill and is a lovely place to spend the night.
