About Geiteberget

An easy tour along a path. From the top there is a great view of the valley, the waterfall Hydnefossen and the mountains Veslehødn, Storehødn and Totten. All the buildings at the museum are original and belonged to the farm Øvre Løkji. It gives a good impression of how a mountain farm looked like in the 18th century. The Museum is open from June to August. Directions: Drive to Ulsåk and follow the road to Lykkja. After 700 meters park by the signpost for the Hallingdal Museum. Walk up to the museum and follow the marked path up along the fence until you arrive at a gate with blue marks on. Follow the marked trail.
