About Bottberget

Bottberget is a nice hike for the entire family. The tour gives you wonderful views of Lesja and Reinheimen National Park.

Getting there

Drive off the E136 at Kullungstad, which is located just off the railroad underpass far west in Kjøremsgrende. Drive under the railroad underpass and follow the road until you reach the country road. Turn left and park at the western end of the country road next to the smallholding Brattbakken.

Trail description

To get to Bottberget you go to Øvre Skardråket, which is marked red and white. There is some steep terrain under Veslfjellet towards Bottberget. Along the way there are several nice viewpoints, but the finest view is on Bottberget! From here you can see both east and west the main valley.
