About Stølsnøse

Stølsnøse is a simple and very nice ski trip for the whole family. The summit can be reached from several directions, depending on weather and road conditions. We would recommend the trip from Tyin because it is safe and very often has good snow conditions. From the top you get a fantastic Look out over Filefjell, Tyin, Vang and Jotunheimen. The tour is suitable for both adults and children who have a good basis of skiing and who like to walk up to ski down. We recommend skiing down the same way as you went up. Early in the season you can stop at Intersport Filefjell to inquire whether the ice on Galdstjernet is safe. Getting there: Leave the E16 at Tyinkrysset and drive to the start of Tyin lake and park along the road.
