About Sulebu

Trip on prepared trails from Tyin to the tourist lodge Sulebu 1330 meters above sea level. The tour begins with a fresh uphill towards Tenla and follows with a somewhat less steep rises all the way up to Sulebu. First here the landscape opens up and reveals a magnificent view, among others, towards Suletind. The trails up to Sulebu divide into four tracks and are of superb quality. Just about 10km to the lodge. Alternative return 1: Direct descent to Otrøvatnet and Gamlestoga in snowmobile trails. The last part of the descent is relatively steep and demanding. About 8.2 km from Sulebu to the parking lot at the ski lift. Alternative return 2: Return via Vardovdtinden (1456 meters above sea level). The trail is prepared sporadically under good conditions. Weathered. About 15km from Sulebu via Vardhovdtinden and Tenla back to the parking lot. From Sulebu there are first 4.5 km to Vardhovdflæane. Keep straight on at the trail crossing here. The last stretch to the top is not on the prepared trail, for those who want to go all the way up. Nice view. Otherwise the trail bends to the northwest and down a short distance before the top. In the next trail junction, keep straight ahead towards Børrenøse. After 1.2 km you can choose whether to turn right or left (via Tenla) around Børrenøse. The descent via Tenla is somewhat less demanding than the eastern variant (right of Børrenøse). It is also possible to pay the peak of Børrenøse (1297 meters a above sea level) a visit on the return. Updated trail status: www.skisporet.no/oppland/tyinfilefjell. Getting there: Follow E16 to Tyinkrysset and park at the ski lift.
