About Gudbrandsjuvet
Gudbrandsjuvet gorge is a deep and narrow section of the Valldøla River along the road between Trollstigen and Valldal. Over time, the river has carved intricate formations into the rock.
An accessible viewing platform weaves through the landscape, allowing you to safely marvel at the river rushing by. At the edge of the water is the Gudbrandsjuvet café.
The viewpoint is an attraction along the Geiranger - Trollstigen scenic route.
Getting there
Gudbrandsjuvet is located alongside road 63, between Trollstigen and Valldal. It is a 15 kilometer drive east of Valldal and 20 kilometers from Trollstigen. The viewpoint is signposted and easy to find.
