Kammen is an universally designed roundtour just beside the fjord. Along the path you also passes a burial ground from the Viking Age (400-1000 years AD).
Starting point is at Åndalsnes shuttle station.
From the shuttle station you walk up Jernbanegate and turn left when you crosses the bridge. Turn right up Sakariasgata. Follow the signs to Kamsveien, turn right down the hill and follow the pedestrian bridge over the railway and road. Continue beyond Ytre Kamsvei and towards Kamsodden.
The tour goes around the promontory. There are several idyllic places at Kammen suitable for a picnic and also to enjoy the view across the Romsdalsfjord and towards Romsdalseggen.
