Step out 200 meters above Trollstigen road

The Trollstigen viewpoint sits on the edge of a cliff overlooking the famous winding road below. Walkways and platforms lead to the edge where you can admire the views across the valley and feel the rush of standing 200 meters above the ground.
A modern visitor center blends into the wild, mountainous landscape. The viewpoint is a key attraction along the Geiranger - Trollstigen scenic route.
To experience some of the nearby nature and escape the crowds, consider the short hike up to Bispevatnet Lake.
The viewpoint and visitor center is located alongside Trollstigen road (road 63), at the top of the hill. There is a large car park.
A local bus runs between Geiranger and Åndalsnes twice daily from late June to late August. The bus stops briefly at Trollstigen. The trip also includes a short photo stop at Ørnesvingen if there is not too much traffic. One-way tickets cost 508 NOK for adults and 256 NOK for children (4-15 years).
