About Bøvertråkket

Bøvertråkket is an easy, stroller-friendly trail, allowing you to explore the varied nature surrounding Bjorli.

The route travels along graveled roads, dirt trails, and asphalted roads. The hike is signposted as a "carwalk" starting from the gas station in Bjorli, and is an excellent opportunity for both big and small explorers to stretch their legs.

Getting there

Turn off Road 136 at the roundabout at Bjorli. Either park at the gas station or at the big parking lot at Bjorli ski resort (parking fee).

The signposted trailhead is by the gas station.

Trail description

From the gas station, head westward along Parallellvegen Road to Bøvervegen Road, between the cabins and over the bridge across Bøvre River. From here, hike along the road up to the ski resort.

Continue by following Løkjevegen Road to Vetlegrenda, cross Skriuvegen Road, and head towards Furulund. Here you enter Ljosmyre Road, which you follow down to Road 136.

Cross Road 136 and continue straight across the railway and down to Rauma River. Follow the river westwards for a while. Then take Vasstårnvegen Road up to the roundabout and back to the starting point.

Facts

  • There is a lovely bathing area along Rauma River, just where you turn off on Vasstårnvegen Road.

  • Remember to keep your dog on a leash.
