This is one the most popular cross-country skiing tracks at Bjorli, and it is considered to be a quite easy one. The track is well sheltered for wind, and you'll find some areas along the track by some south-facing fields which is suitable for skiing games.
Exit the roundabout at E136 in Bjorli towards Bjorli ski resort. Here you can park at the big parking lot. Parking fee.
Otherwise you can start at a smaller parking lot east of Vetlegrenda. Drive towards the alpine skiing slope, but then turn right onto Skriuvegen right after the grocery store Bunnpris. Follow this road and you'll have the parking lot at your right hand side just before Vetlegrenda.
Morkenløypa goes south-east from the ski resort. At the beginning you'll cross an open field before you are at the upper side of Vetlegrenda. The ski slope runs in flat and varied terrain in the forest, with a slight increase towards the Morken-farms. The trail runs through several cottage areas, and thus you'll have to be careful when crossing the roads. The track is well marked. Close to the easternmost part of the trail, you'll find a traditional shelter. From this point the trail returns in a slightly more hilly terrain further up in the valleyside. Recommended skiing direction is counterclockwise.
You can make a bonfire close to the traditional shelter, but then you need to bring your own firewood.
