What You’ll Do
The day begins with a bus ride to Lyngsfjord Adventure's wilderness base, Camp Tamok, where you will be outfitted with all the necessary outdoor gear. Experienced guides will then teach you how to drive your own dog sledding team!
The group will be divided into pairs while on the sled, with one person driving and the other as a passenger. Both guests will get a chance to try each role during the 10 to 12-kilometer adventure which takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. After the trip is over, you will return to Camp Tamok where you will warm up with freshly brewed coffee and a hot meal in the dining lavvu, a Sami herders tent. After your Sami-style feast, you will be driven back to Tromsø city center.
