The trailhead starts right by Hamn i Senja. You can park your car there and walk to the trailhead, located about 1 kilometer from the hotel. From the hotel, head towards the main road, take a left and follow the road for about 500 meters. You will come to the trailhead along the right side of the road.
There is no bus stop close to the trailhead, so arriving there by car is your best option.
The trail is marked all the way to the top and it is easy to follow. You will be passing Storvatnet on your left-hand side and the trail becomes a bit steeper up to Grytvatnet.
