What You’ll Do

Nothing compares to walking through a forest covered in beautiful snow during a Norwegian winter evening. We will take you on an adventure through the woods to a perfect view of one of Norway’s cosiest winter villages, Geilo. Along the journey, we will gather firewood to make a campfire in the snow where we will stay warm while enjoying a traditional Norwegian campfire dinner and coffee.

Geilo is located in the middle of Southern Norway, between the major cities Oslo and Bergen. At the foot of two national parks, Hallingskarvet and Hardangervidda, Geilo offers endless options for outdoor activities.

Train

Geilo is located along the Bergen railway, going from Oslo to Bergen. Book your tickets on nsb.no and jump on the train from one of Norway's largest cities. From Oslo it’s about 3.5 hours, and from Bergen, about 3 hours of relaxing journey.

Bus

From Oslo, take Nettbuss express NX175. The journey takes about 3.5 hours. You can even take the bus from the airport at Gardermoen with one transfer at the Oslo central station.
