About Vardåsen Tower

Travelling in the most south eastern part of Norway it is often hard to find a good place to get some good overview of the terrain around you. The area is so flat so finding av tower to climb up in is often the best way to get some nice views.

Vardåsen is a small nature reserve with a easy to find path from the parking spot along the road and up to the tower. You will get great views of Østfold and Oslofjorden. On good days you will be able to get views of Oslo as well from up there.

Parking
At the start of the trail you will find a small parking lot for about 4-5 cars right by the road. It can be a bit hard to spot so drive slowly to see it.

Route
From the parking spot just follow along the track along the houses and the golf course. At the top of the hill you will see a sign to the tower.
