What You’ll Do

Our tour leaders and “mushers” are skilled and experienced nature guides, committed to providing a fun, green, and safe adventure.

The day starts off at our kennel in Beito, where you will get acquainted with the dogs which will be part of your team for the rest of the day. You will be able to interact with these amazing dogs, their happy eyes, wagging tails and fast legs.

Once we reach our starting point, we will start by getting the dogs ready. You will learn how to put harnesses on the dogs, learn where to correctly place them in the team, and also learn some tricks for your trip. It is not before you say the first “GO” until you get to feel the tremendous power found in a team of huskies.

An experienced guide will lead the first team and the rest will follow by instinct through the entire trail on the gravel roads throughout the beautiful terrain. Somewhere along the way, the carts will stop, the dogs will be given a well-deserved break as well as something to drink, and everyone will sit down for some snacks while we enjoy the view.

The carts are equipped with a seat in the front. Normally two persons will share a cart and change positions. Small children can sit in the front together with an adult. No previous experience is required. Upon special request, you may just sit down and enjoy the full ride and not participate in the steering.
