About Vivelid / Fljodal / Såtefjell

Follow the first part of the approximately one-and-a-half hour hike to Vivelid (see the description of the Hjølmaberget – Vivelid/Valursfossen – Hjølmaberget route). Continue for 30 minutes until the turning towards Hedlo. From here there is a steep walk up to the Skrubbhamrane and across a “summer” bridge over the creek. You continue past the turning towards Liseth and walk via the Storasåta (Såtefjell) mountain, where you can enjoy fabulous views over the surrounding mountains, fjords and glaciers. Walk down to the turning onto the footpath from Vivelid. Continue on that path and past another turning from Liseth. There you will walk further down through the wood back to the car park, which takes you approximately two hours.
