The mountain skiing trail in Bjorli is a prepared ski trail – here you have views to both Reinheimen and Dovrefjell-Sunndalsfjella National Parks!
Bjorli is situated furthest west in the municipality of Lesja, app. 40 km from Lesja center. The distance between Bjorli – Åndalsnes is 50 km. From the roundabout in Bjorli you need to turn upwards towards the ski resort. Here’s a big parking lot. Payment by card.
The skiing trail has two classic trails and begins at the top of the ski tow. The trail moves in relative flat terrain and takes a tour round a tarn in Dalsida protected landscape bordering Dovrefjell-Sunndalsfjella National Park. Several mountaintops encircle the trail before it descend to Bøverbotn. Close to the Bøvervatn you’ll see several cabins. Then the trail goes further down the hill to Bjorli, where it ends.
In the mountain the skiing trail is marked with sticks, and the preparation of the trail will start in the winter holiday and continue until Easter Monday subject to weather conditions. Recommended skiing-direction is counterclockwise.
From the skiing trail you have easy access to several summits. One of these recommended summits are Svarthøi (1883 MASL). Another great summit is Toppen (1252 MASL) which is also easily accessible from the trail.
