Brøstdalsløypa is a nice cross-country skiing tour in a varied, but still easy terrain for skiing.
To get to the starting point; from the roundabout at Bjorli, continue 300 meters in the direction of Åndalsnes on E136. Take a left turn. Free parking at the Bjorli railway station/recycling center. Otherwise you can park along the dead end to the west.
The trail is prepared for two classic tracks as well as freestyle. Recommended skiing direction is counterclockwise. It starts by the railway station in Bjorli towards west and crosses the river Rauma. When you arrive a crossroad in the tracks on a big field, you turn right. Here the track is hilly until a small cottage where you can take a rest before moving further down the slopes towards the starting point.
The track is supposed to be prepared for skiing by 10 o’clock from Thursday through Sunday.
