About Borestranda Beach
While there are many lovely sandy beaches in Jæren, the 3-kilometer long Borestranden is the one the locals flock to on a warm summer’s day. It also happens to be where the local surf schools are based with this stretch of coast having the best surf conditions in Norway. The small, grassy dunes are fun to explore and provide shelter from the wind.
Important: if you chose to go swimming, be aware of the strong undercurrents.
