Torløypa gives you a great cross-country skiing experience on the mountain in Lesja. The trail is absolutely a good choice on a weekend in March/April with good weather.
To get to the starting point Myrin; from Dombås follow the E136 for about 13 km, nearly 3 km east of Lesja town center. Drive off the road at Aurstad, towards Dalsidevegen and Aursjøen. Toll road. Follow the road 4 km until you arrive at a big parking lot at Myrin. Parking fee.
You can ski this track either clockwise or counterclockwise. If you choose to go clockwise and head up to Nosi first, you'll get a spectacular view of the mountain Veslhorrungen. You'll pass a big characteristic rock that can provide shelter or be a nice place to enjoy the sun on a sunny spring day. Fun skiing downhill to Fiskedammen before a gentle ascent towards the parking lot, Myrin, again. If you choose to go counterclockwise, you'll both start and end the trip with going down hill.
Be sure to bring enough clothes and gear to keep warm and safe skiing.
