About Kampen

Kampen is a great hike and a fantastic viewpoint over the western part of Lesjaskog and lake Lesjaskogsvatnet. Kampen is 1369-masl and it is most suitable for those with some hiking experience.

Getting there

Drive off E136 towards Lesjaskogsvatnet about 1,8 km east of the western driveway to Lesjaskog or 1 km of the eastern driveway to Lesjaskog. Cross the railroad and park by Dambrua. The bridge is closed with a boom.

Trail description

There is a marked path over Raudberget to Kampen. The path is easy to follow. Once your out of the forest a great view arrives.

If you don't want to go back the same path, you can follow the path further to the westside of the river Hyrjon and arrive at Tandsetre at Lesjaverk. Note that it is very steep at the top by the river - be careful in wet weather with regard to slippery rocks.
