Tussheim is a great hike and Tussheimbue is your best viewpoint of Lesja.
Leave the E136 in the central of Lesja. Parking available on the north side of the E136. Walk under the railway underpass and follow the signs to Tussheim and Tussheimbue.
At Tussheim, 3,2 km above the center of Lesja, there is a big cairn. It's a slight ascent up to Tussheim, but the hike fits most people. Above the treeline you can either continue straight to Dalsida or turn right and follow the signs/path to Tussheim.
The story of Tussheim
The big characteristic cairn was once the end wall of a small hut. Hotel director Hans Anton Johan Hole (1869-1963) built this place in 1909. He married his darling wife Thea in 1910. His nickname for her was "Thus", and so he named the little hut Tussheim. They spent their honeymoon at this place, and used the place regulary during holidays.
