About Hornindal Rundt - Tougher than the rest

Between the mountains of Jotunheimen and the North Sea you will find Hornindal. Surrounded by the most beautiful and spectacular mountains of the north and with a scenery depicted in the fairy tales, the pioneer Amund Sverre Tomasgard never looked back. Here he set out to create the ultimate ultra-race, tougher than any other. 20 mountains, 75 kilometres and a 5600 climb in one and the same race. That feeling, standing on Gulekoppen watching the Jostedal Glacier to the south, the Alps of Sunnmøre to the north and the ocean to the west, your legs trembling from fatigue relying on your will power to keep you going. That feeling, when you cross the finishing line after hours of fighting yourself and nature and be able to celebrate completing a race that few others have done before you.
