Getting there
Park by the Forollhogna info center in the village center.
Trail description
The cultural trail starts by the Bunåva café in the middle of the village where you can pick up a brochure and map.
On the way towards Vingelsgaard Gjestgiveri you’ll pass several nice farms. On the way to back towards the center you will walk along the idyllic church path.
The path passes the Vingelen church and school museum and Vingelen church. A narrow, steep path takes you up to Stornorstu-stua which is possibly the oldest house in Vingelen.
You’ll then continue down back towards the start.
Amenities
The Bunåva café is open every day in summer and serves simple lunch dishes with a focus on local produce. The Vingelen church and school museum also serves coffee in summer. In nice weather you can enjoy a coffee and homemade “lefse” (Norwegian potato flatbread) in the museum garden.
