About Vardanosi

A short afternoon walk north from Turtagrø instead of into Hurrungane gives a different perspective. It gets clear that the mountain Hurrungane is a restricted area where the alpine peaks prevail. To the north up on the plateau are plains. Always interesting to experience a popular area from a different perspective. Follow the path towards Stølsdalen up Gjessingadalen valley until you get up on the plateau. Take off to the west towards the top of Vardanosi.
