About Koldedalsbreen 1822
Peak Ski-trip Summer and Fall
Koldedalsbreen provides a nice descent and snow stays well into the summer. And in the fall it will not take much snow for the conditions to be good. When the road into Koldedalen is open, the approach is short and skiers in the Tyin area can enjoy the long ski season. The area provides great views of Jotunheimen and Hurrungane with Falketind as the mightiest a "stone's throw" further north. The end goal is to reach the peak at 1822 meters above sea level.
The glacier is easily accessible from the road into Koldedalen. Park just before the last bridge before getting to Koldedalsvatnet.
