Juhola has since 2001 status as a cultural reserve, as an example of the cultural landscape around a Värmland finn farm. Finnish language was spoken daily until 1930s. Because of this, Finnish linguists regularly visited Juhola in their research.
Juhola is privately owned but open to visitors during the summer. The eldest building is fra 1740s, and there are also other buildings from the 1700s.
