What You'll Do
Together with Aktiv i Lom, you’ll gear up for an exciting day-long adventure on the Bøverbreen Glacier, in the heart of Jotunheimen National Park. You’ll learn how to use all the necessary equipment and techniques to safely maneuver the ice any the plenty of routes! Then it’s time to explore the cracks, caves, and towers of the thousands of years old ice. There are countless routes and mountain peaks to explore, Aktiv i Lom will adjust your trip depending on your skills and how much you’re up for a challenge.
During the month of July, there are regularly scheduled trips on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. It is also possible to book before of after July, just notify Aktiv i Lom are your desired dates. Please book before 18:00 the night before the trip departure.

- Equipment: Crampons, ice ax, helmet, and any other necessary equipment
What to Bring
- Warm undergarments (1-2 base layers, preferably wool)
- 1 wool sweater
- Wind-and- waterproof clothing
- Hat and gloves
- Mountain boots (with good grip and above ankle)
- Warm beverages and food
- Sunglasses and sun lotion, recommended

The meeting point is in front of the Krossbu Turiststasjon, the tourist information center located in Lom at 9:40 in the morning.
