Gråhøe is the name of the little peak just above the downhill slope at Mysusæter. The climb up is strenuous but if you take your time the trail treats you with great views of Mysusæter and Rondane National Park all the way up.
If you have a car you can drive from Otta and up to Mysusæter. When you get close to Mysusæter, you will find Rondane Hotel on your right-hand side. You can ask if it is ok to park your car there or continue for about 500 more meters and park your car behind Musysæter Servicesenter.
Take the train to Otta and the bus from Otta to Mysusæter. Usually, there is one bus in the morning and one in the afternoon. Check out the timetables at Opplandstrafikk.no or call them(+47 61 28 90 00) if it is hard to find the correct departure times.
From Mysusæter Servicesenter follow the gravel road and trail up to the downhill slope. On the far right side of the slopes you can find a trail marked green going up the hill. If you don’t find it at first then just follow the right side of the slope and you will find it a bit further up as another trail comes into the same trail from the west side of the mountain.
Follow this green marked trail up as is crosses the downhill slope at the top and reaches Gråhøe.
